Late last night Phil Ivey secured his second bracelet in the 2009 WSOP. In event #25, $2500 Omaha 8-or-better/Seven-card Stud 8-or-better, Phil had a big chip lead, with 2.2 million over Ming Lee´s 675k going into heads-up. The HU battle didn´t take long for Phil Ivey, who probably could claim more in propbets than he got in prizemoney.
You can read more about it here
The final hand came during a round of Stud-8 with Lee all in on third street. The boards ran out as follows:
Lee: J-Hearts, 6-Clubs, 7-Spades, Q-Hearts, J-Spades, 5-Spades, K-Diamonds
Ivey: Q-Diamonds, Q-Spades, 3-Clubs, 5-Clubs, 8-Spades, 7-Clubs, Q-Clubs
Another sick thing is that Phil Ivey also booked a nice $195k profit online, playing Hi/Lo and HEROS two days ago, guess he was playing in between the breaks in the tournaments
