It probably had little to do with charity, but Cole South certainly did his best to pad his opponents’ bankrolls last night. As my colleague stated in the previous report, he lost lost just over one million dollars in abut 3600 hands. Close to 2500 of these hands came at the PLO tables, and that is where all the damage was done with losses totaling 1.1M. Durrrr and Ziigmund were the main benefactors, each winning about $500K in their encounters with South, but since both these players lost about half their winnings in other games, quite a few players were able to benefit from Cole South’s misfortune.
Due to some time constraints, I will just give you the largest pots of the night, un-commented, though some of you might prefer it that way :)
Ziigmund rivers a flush to take down Cole South’s two pairs. $291K pot.
Durrrr, all-in pre-flop, rivers a straight for a $262K pot.
Ziigmund flops the nuts and Cole South can’t catch up. $226K pot
Cole South’s two pairs are good enough to win a three-way $170K pot
Ziigmund catches Cole South bluffing. $169K pot
