As most of you know, in December , Brian Hastings was responsible for Isildur1’s bust his first time around. Tonight we saw another epic battle, and again it was Hastings who came out on top winning over $1.5M follars in close to 2800 hands of $500/$1000 PLO. We do not want to create any speculations about Isildur1’s general bankroll, but it certainly seems as though his account at Full Tilt is empty for the time being after this setback.

In December, Hastings famously ran more than $3M over EV in the all-in situations, and as you can see from this graph, lady luck was certainly smiling to him again today. We have stated many times before that the EV graphs give an incomplete picture of what is going on in a match like this, but it is interesting to see all the same. Obviously, Hastings must have been running good, but you can also see that he would still have been a $600K winner if he had broken even in the all-in situations.

In the second graph, you can see how the session developed, and as most of Isildur1’s bad sessions when things go south they really go bad in a hurry. For more than half the session the match went back and forth, swinging between about +$500K and -$500K. Then, all of a sudden, it all went Brian Hastings way. Isildur1 made a small comeback towards the end, but then a few big hands went Hastings way again and then it was all over. Hopefully it is not the last we will hear from Isildur1.
Isildur1’s top two pair holds up against Hastings’ straight draw. $486K pot
Isildur1 flops a flush against Hastings’ top set and wins a $471K pot.
Hastings turns a flush to scoop a $464K pot.
Both players flop nice draws, but a pair of sixes decides the $447K pot for Hastings.
