Durrrr takes off with almost 1.2M dollars.

It has been a very profitable couple of days for durrrr, and he has basically been running over all the games he has sat down in. A $236K win in the  seven game, $482K playing hold’em and finally $463K in PLO adds up to $1.18M dollars in 5252 hands. That result was almost $900K better than the next player on the leader board, so there should be little doubt about who was dominating the games.

Durrrr wins a $450K pot by turning a straight against Ivey’s flopped set.

durrrr and Ivey had some very nice pots in their $500/$1000 PLO match, and we saw some of the largest pots we have seen in a while, and this one was the largest one by some margin. Obviously, durrrr got pretty lucky here because on the flop he was  4-1 underdog , but it wasn’t so easy for him to get away from the hand. He has flopped top and bottom pair and a gut shot straight draw to the nuts. The pot was built so large before the flop that durrrr was is in a fold or shove situation, and with Ivey sitting on a wide range in this spot, folding was probably not an option he considered for very long.

Durrrr needed to have about 42% equity against Ivey’s range here, and seeing how there is a potential flush draw on the board that Ivey could be playing, it seems likely that durrrr has the correct odds to shove. The only thing you can do in situations like these is to play the hand has good as possible and then just see what falls after that. Durrrr was probably disappointed to see that Ivey had flopped a set, but sometimes you get to suck out. I only wish that my suckouts came in $450K pots.

Ivey flops a set and rivers a straight to win a $276K pot

durrrr outflops Ivey’s aces in a $243K pot.

durrrr turns a straight, and Observer84 makes a strange raise on the river to pay him off. $192K pot.

durrrr rivers two pairs to crack Ivey’s aces and win a $161K pot.

We are making some changes to the way we are omporting our data these days, so I can't make the HU results as usual at the moment. They will be back in shortly, however.
