He is not Isildur1, but he certainly seems to be an elite NLHE player and over the last three days he has shown just that. As opposed to Isildur1 though, he seems to have some discipline and is not running to the highest tables to take shots his newly won bankroll. Maybe not as thrilling for the railing community, but it might mean that we will watch him play good poker for a long time.

Yesterday it was jungleman12 who was standing up to the Swede, but in a marathon, 3023 hand heads-up match of NLHE $100/$200 Odonkor1 won $305K. A very impressive result considering the stakes. He also had short bouts with HUMZIE and Nick Schulman, but those didn’t change his final result of the day which ended at a tidy $312K.

Odonkor1 makes a move at the wrong time but gets bailed out by a straight on the river. $143K pot.

It is not always enough to know if you should bluff, but it is also necessary to know exactly when you should pull the trigger. Looking at this hand form Odonkor1's perspective, it seems that there is a good chance that jungleman12 has either an overpair or AK. In the latter case, Odonkor1 can semi bluff raise the flop successfully, but if jungleman12 holds an overpair it is better to just take a card off and try to hit his straight.

When the ace comes on the river, Odonkor1 has the same choice, but this time he should take a card off if his opponent holds AK and can try a semi bluff he is up against a hand like KK or QQ. Apparently, Odonkor1 decided that jungleman12’s range was weighted towards a pocket pair, but this time he would have been better off check raising the flop. Fortunately for Odonkor1, there was still one card to come, so when plan A failed, plan B came and bailed him out in the form of the king of spades.

Gus Hansen flops top set, but can’t fade UarePileous’ flush draw. $154K pot.

Ziigmund rivers trips but ends up wishing he hadn’t. $137K pot.

Hansen flops two pairs, gets a bad turn but rivers a full house to win a $120K pot.

Hastings flops top set against Antonius middle set. $95K pot

Ivey flops a straight and Hansen misses his flush draw. $89K pot.
