Being a professional poker player is what many dream about - you can basically do whatever you want. However, like in all professions, there are also downsides in playing poker for a living.

The swings can be huge and sometimes the game just get to you, just like Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies states in his latest blog update:
"I just finished 500-1k session against Gus Hansen...I really didnt win any pot....I was leading like 75 % of pots but lostall...I lost 250k or some like that.I hate poker at this moment so fcikng much.Maybe its time to take realbrake from poker...I dont know...
Whatever.... I hate poker so much right now and try to training summershape...lets see what happens...Maybe Im playing in the evening and no training....Whatever...TILT...GG Gl Everyone."
Ziigmund is currently down $240K for the year, which is not much, if you consider the stakes he plays. We will see if he will really take a break from poker.
