Cap games again…. Where is Isildur1 when you need him? Yesterday it was Cole South who had most of his hand stand up while Ziigmund was on the other side of that coin. Durrr also grabbed a slice of the pie with a $124K win.

I can obviously see the appeal that these games have for the players. They risk less in each hand, so you would think that it lowers the variance, but on the other hand there are a lot more all-in situations, so I am not 100% sure what the full truth is. What I am sure of however, is that the cap games leads to a lot more technical play that might be more difficult for us railbirds to appreciate, but then again, I doubt that any of the players are concerned about playing audience-friendly poker.

All-in preflop, Cole South wins $80K pot with a full house.

Cole South rivers top two pairs to beat Ziigmunds flopped two pairs, $80K pot.

Hansen flops quads and wins $80K pot.

Ziigmund’s top pair is enough to winan $80K pot.

Ziigmund’s kings makes him a full house on the river to win a (surprise) $80K pot.
