Sam Farha is a regular face in the biggest live cash games in the world, and he is no stranger to tournament play either. Farha might have played big also online, but there is no proof of that.

Before yesterday Farha had two WSOP bracelets to his name, and also a runner-up finish in the 2003 Main Event. Farha lost the main event title to Chris Moneymaker, who is often referred to as the man that ignited the poker boom.
However, Farha got his consolation yesterday, when he went on to win his third bracelet in one of the longest Omaha 8/OB final tables in history — over 15 hours of tense action.
In the heads-up Farha beated James Dempsey, who instead almost won his second bracelet at this years WSOP.
Here is Farhas comments after the win (from CardPlayer.com): “I am not competing for bracelets. If I did, I would play every single event. I pick the events that I like. I am not trying to compete to get 10 bracelets or 11 bracelets. I don’t like tournaments too much.”
