Mizrachi leads WSOP POY race

2010 WSOP is just about halfway through, and the race for WSOP Player of Year is going strong with Mike "The Grinder" Mizrachi and James Dempsey on the lead.

Mizrachi just finished eight in the $10K Limit Hold'em Championship, and that was already his third final table at this years WSOP. He has now 180 POY points, just like James "Flushy" Dempsey.

Mizrachi's good run couldn't come in any better time - in May SunSentinel.com reported that "Poker champ Mizrachi owes $340,000 in taxes and is in foreclosure".

We will now wait and see if he can actually take down the POY-title.
