An interesting match took place between Ziigmund and Luukie21. They started out playing 721 hands of $200/$400 PLO and after Ziigmund had won $134K there, they moved on to the $500/$1000 Cap game where Ziigmund proceeded to win another $75K.
Ziigmund flops a set of aces and fades a bunch of draws on the turn to win a $77K pot.
The largest uncapped pot of the day also belonged to Ziigmund, but it was UarePileous and not Luukie21 who was the victim this time around. It was a bit unlucky hand for UarePileous because the board got looked quite favorable for him all the way. His call on the flop is clear cut. Top pair/top kicker + a gutshot draw on a dry board like this is definitely worth a call. And when he adds the flush draw on the turn, he no longer has any choice but to get his money in. Besides all if his draws, it is not all that unlikely that he has the best hand. And even if Ziigmund should have two pairs, UarePileous would have close to even odds of hitting a winner on the river. It is only when he is up against a set that UarePileous is in serious trouble, but even now he has 27% chance of taking off with the money. So against Ziigmund, who definitely has a much wider range than just a set, it makes a ton of sense for UarePileous to get his chips in on the turn.
Ziigmund hits his draw twice to win an $80K pot.
Luukie21 hits his nut flush twice in an $80K pot.
