It is said that the definition of stupidity is to make the same action and expect a different result. Although it might not be accurate for poker, it seems to me that IhateJuice should find another opponent to satisfy his fixed limit cravings. Yesterday he played another 1257 hands of $2K/$4K against Patrik Antonius and lost $505K, so I think it is safe to say that IhateJuice should work in his game selection skills before doing anything else.

Unfortunately, since we are not shown both player’s holecards in most of the fixed limit games, it is difficult to make any kind of sensible analysis there. Luckily there were some other interesting hands being played, so we’ll have a look at this one instead.
It is a bit of a difficult hand to come to grips with. My first thought when I saw it was that DrugsOrMe called on the flop to make a move on the turn. He surely knows that he is behind, and with no draws it is hard to come up with any other conclusion. But when the turn came he apparently changed his mind and decided to check behind for some reason. I am guessing that he decided to wait one street since he is more likely to get action on the turn than on the river. As it turned out, this was a very fortunate choice, although perhaps for different reasons. Luckexpress10 was apparently planning a move on his own, so if DrugsOrMe does not hit the nine on the river, the action would probably be the same except that DrugsOrMe would not have a hand to make the final call.
