Erik Seidel ended up winning the biggest buy-in poker tournament (AUD $250,000 buy-in) in history today at the Aussie Millions.

In the heads-up play Seidel outlasted Sam Trickett, who almost managed to win both of the Aussie Millions High Roller tournaments this year.

Final results (20 entries, 1.00 AUD=0.993506 USD):

1. Erik Seidel – AUD $2,500,000
2. Sam Trickett – AUD $1,400,000
3. David Benyamine – AUD $1,100,000

Seidel moved now to 3rd place on the all-time tournament money list, and he has earned a whopping $3.46 million from live tournaments this month alone (he was also 4th in the 2011 PCA $25K high roller event and 3rd in the 2011 Aussie Millions 100K challenge).
