Yesterday brought us one of the busiest days of 2011 on the virtual felt at Full Tilt mainly due to the enigma known as Cadillac1944 returning to action. Numerous 200/400 and 300/600 6-max PLO tables were running resulting in URnotINdanger2 winning nearly $500k and Cadillac1944 donating nearly $300k.
Since first arriving on the scene last August, the identity of Cadillac1944 has been in question but the one thing that remains certain is that there are no shortage of players lining up to take their shot at the mystery man. Yesterday’s action followed the same trend with the likes of Gus Hansen, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, “FinnishNightmre”, Phil Ivey, “skjervoy”, Josh Arieh, “LokoIsBack” and a half-dozen others trying to extend Cadillac1944’s nearly $2.8 million downswing since his arrival.
With this cast it was no surprise to see the “chips flying” and exchanging at a rampant pace.
In a 4-way all-in, URnotINdanger2's top set holds in a $368,717 pot
With over $60k in the middle after the flop, OMGClayAiken’s turn a set to accompany his flush draw
Despite both OMGClayAiken and Cadillac1944 turning the nuts, the pair on the river fills up Galfond
In yesterday’s action, Scott “URnotINdanger2” topped the leader board with his $488,978 win followed by “FinnishNightmre” with $245,783 and “tyme2gamb0l111” with $96.215. At one point Tom “durrrr” Dwan was winning over $200k but gave a good piece of that back while playing Gus Hansen heads up.
Gus Hansen’s bottom set holds against Dwan’s OESD in the biggest hand of the HU match
Hansen, who at one point was showing more than $500k in losses, won $150k back and ended the 36 hour period down $353,724. Cadillac1944 lost $290,750 in yesterday’s action and skjervoy lost $136,083.
Let’s hope that Cadillac1944 will be ready for redemption soon and will be back at the tables ready for more!
