The first FTOPS ever without U.S players is nearing its end over at Full Tilt Poker, and already 29 events of the 45 have been played down to winner.
Few familiar names have captured already wins, and the latest one to take down a FTOPS title was a highstakes player from Russia "NoPasaran". The tournament was FTOPS #28, $109 buy-in, PL Omaha Hi, Rebuy, Multi-Entry (1,070 players).
NoPasaran took home $81,652.50 for capturing title, and this was not his/her first FTOPS win. He/She had at least one FTOPS title already from 2009, which also came from PLO.
Players like Peter Jetten and “ronnyr37617” have also won FTOPS XX titles, while Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi has had few close calls, but has yet to win a FTOPS XX title.
Mizzi is currently leading the FTOPS XX Leaderboard. The player with the most Leaderboard Points will win a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize package that includes entry to every FTOPS XXI Event (except the Two-Day and $10,000 Heads Up Events) and is worth approximately $14,000.
