Tonight's match between Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Rui "PepperoniF" Cao didn't went down quite as we excepted, Isildur1 was more or less pending to win the match quickly, but after all it still took 2257 hands before the match was over.
Isildur1 has not been playing for a while but that didn't seem to be any problem since he hit a perfect start when he doubled up in pretty much the first hand when he went all-in on the flop and won a $20k pot, he followed this up with one of the key hand in this match which was a $40k pot after just 30 minutes into the match.
Isildur1 quickly managed to build up a huge profit on the Omaha PL tables and had several occasions where he was close of finishing the match after already ~1000 hands, but PepperoniF hung in despite the fact that he was very short of money in pretty much the whole match.
When they had played all the 1250 hold'em hand they made a short pause and started up four Omaha PL tables and Isildur1 directly hit the doom switch and won pretty much every all-in pot in the next minutes and they was finally down to just one table. They played for about 10 minutes before Isildur1 won the last hand, a $28k pot after hitting a perfect money card on the turn.
Isildur1 played a great match and left the tables with $150k more in his pockets but Rui Cao will probably be very hungry for a rematch because he was running relatively cold in this match with a lot of setups and close pots, just check the largest hand in the re-player to the right, huge hands for both players.
