John Juanda and Doyle Brunson have both confirmed via their Twitter accounts that they will not play the WSOP Europe tournaments this year.

Brunson, who finished 77. in the EPT London Main Event just while ago (good for £9.000), tells that he is now home after 10 days in London.

"I was so disgusted with everything, I passed on going to Cannes. Turns out I have a kidney infection", Brunson announced few days ago in his Twitter.

John Juanda, who won the WSOPE Main Event in 2008, instead announced yesterday that he is now a father (see the Twitter update below)!

-Looks like I'm gonna have to miss WSOPE cos I found myself a great new job. GL2 all playing!

Despite the absence of Juanda and Brunson, we can expect a strong field for the WSOPE Main Event this year.
