Romain "moirhums" Arnaud got the better of Brian Townsend

Once more the $200/$400 NLHE ring games was where the action was yesterday at PokerStars and the big winner was LiangYu who won $126k in 260 hands over two sessions. It had been a rough week for LiangYu who, up to yesterday, was down over $330k for the week. Already up another $34k today perhaps if the big games keep running he can bring his account back to black. It was also LiangYu who won the biggest hand of the sessions with this rivered flush for $87k

It wasn't all about NLHE however as French pro moirhums wasn't far behind YiangLu and took $116k at PLO, mostly playing $100/$200. Both LiangYu and moirhums had one thing in common in that they both took a chunk of money from the online legend Brian "aba20" Townsend as he suffered a $152k loss (the biggest of the day by a considerable margin) almost $90k of which was lost playing HU with moirhums and another $66k lost playing the big NLHE game - in the process undoing all the good work he'd put in through October.

A bad day at the office was also had by Ben86 (-$63k) and thecorster (-$48k), both of whom lost out in the $200/$400 ring games.

It was the aforementioned PLO HU battles which produced the biggest hand of the day with aba20 being on the wrong end of this $89k pot as he gets unlucky on the river after getting it in good on the flop
