Daniel Santoro ended up winning the WPT Foxwoods World Poker Finals (buy-in $10.000), taking home $449,910, a WPT Champions Cup, and $25,500 entry into the season-ending WPT World Championship.
In the last hand of the heads-up play, Christian Harder min-raised to 160,000, Daniel Santoro reraised to 425,000, and Harder thought for about 30 seconds before he moved all in for about 2.5 million.
Santoro immediately called with AK, and Harder turned over 1010 for a race situation.
The board ran J852K, and Daniel Santoro took down the tournament with a pair of kings on the river.
Christian Harder finished as the runner-up, earning $248,962.
Former WPT Players of the Year and WPT Title winners, Jonathan Little and Andy Frankenberger couldn't seal the deal.
Little's dream of third WPT title was over after he busted out in 8th place, while Frankenberger's race for second WPT title ended in 5th place.
