PokerStars has announced that they are going to be attempting to break their own record for largest ever online poker tournament.
In December of 2009, Pokerstars broke their own Guinness world record when 149,196 people turned out to play in a $1 buy-in tournament.
Now, as part of their 10th anniversary celebration, PokerStars is attempting to break their own record once again.
The record attempt will happen on Sunday, December 4, 12:30 pm ET, when $1 buy-in, $250,000 guaranteed prize pool ($50,000 guaranteed first place prize) tournament kicks off.
PokerStars certainly knows how to throw a birthday party, since the site will also be helding a $10M guaranteed Sunday Million.
