Dan Smith Wins 2012 Aussie Millions $100K Challenge.

The Aussie Millions $100.000 Super High Roller tournament attracted a total of 22 players this year (38 players last year), and it was eventually Dan Smith who took down the prestigious title.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan, last year's winner Sam Trickett, Sorel Mizzi and Gus Hansen were just few names that played the event but busted out before reaching the money.

Gus Hansen was actually the unfortunate bubble boy, and according to Pokernews.com, Hansen was heard mumbling, "F*** me in the ass," as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Here are the final results for the 2012 Aussie Millions $100K Challenge (1.00 AUD = 1.05566 USD):

1 Dan Smith A$1,012,000
2 Mikhail Smirnov A$616,000
3 Joe Hachem A$330,000
4 Tony G A$242,000

As you can see from the Hendon Mob Poker Database, this is easily the largest win of Smith's career.
