Aussie Millions Main Event: Lam Tops Day 1c with Ivey Lurking

Phil Ivey on day 1c of the Aussie Millions 2012 Main Event.

The day 1c of the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event finished just moment ago, and the tournament will resume tomorrow starting at 12:30 PM local time.

The final number of players is not yet however known, since registration will remain open until the first break tomorrow so even more players have the chance of hopping into the event.

Day 1c attracted a total of 317 players, and when that number is combined with day 1a (153 players) and day 1b (187 players), the total number of players is now 657 with 309 players surviving to Day 2.

Last year the Main Event attracted 712 players, and we will see tomorrow what will be the final number for this year.

Robert Lam (198,400) ended day 1c as the chip leader, but it was Phil Ivey, who was the center of attention on day 1c.

Ivey ended the day 1c with 184,000 in chips after an eventful day.

Other notables who bagged up some decent chips on Day 1c were Jason Koon, Michael Pedley, David Steicke, Melanie Weisner and Tino Lechich.
