altiFC makes over $200k at NLHE
Eunjong drops $190k with a bad last day of the month
Yesterday saw some nosebleed NLHE action with plenty of $100/$200 and $200/$400 being played, resulting in some tidy scores - none tidier than that of German player Max "altiFC" Altergott who brought home a $219k win for the day after a morning heads up session versus January's biggest winner patpatman.
The two played 800 hands split between $100/$200 and $200/$400 with altiFC dominating proceedings and bagging a huge win. The two and a half hour match saw plenty of big hands with two pots going over the $200k mark;

This high stakes NL heads up match was by no means the only one of the day however as two other big encounters took place. As altiFC and patpatman were going at it there was a great $100/$200 NL match going on between Canadian pro Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil and South Korean pro Eunjong Byun. This time takechip managed to have the best of the match and despite Byun taking an early lead, by the end of their match the South Korean had lost 187k, almost wiping out the $193k he had won from D'Auteuil a little over a week ago. takechip came third on yesterdays leaderboard with a total win of $103k after losing a little in the PLO ring games and $50k to the apparent hacker of Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu's account - one place behind the biggest PLO winner of the day Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen who crushed the $50/$100 and $25/$50 six max games throughout the morning.
In another HU NLHE match that took place, patpatman set about taking back some of his earlier losses as he took $111k from johnxfleming, this being his biggest pot of the match;
patpatman's flopped two pair is enough to take this pot despite johnxfleming's aggression on the turn - $101k pot
This loss helped johnxfleming climb to second spot on the days loserboard with a total deficit of $115k.
