Vadzim Kursevich.

The PokerStars EPT Deauville is now in the books, after Belarusian Vadzim Kursevich took down the title and €875,000 first-place prize. Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano finished instead in 7th place, and will thus have to wait for his eighth EPT final table for another chance at victory.

While this win was clearly the biggest of Kursevich's career, he has had a nice success also before in the big online and live tournaments - Kursevich was, for example, 2011 WCOOP Main Event finalist and EPT Berlin thrid-place finisher.

Pagano, who finished seventh in the final, has been a consistent cashier on the EPT, making the money for the 20th time, extending his own record.

EPT Deauville final table results (buy-in €5.300, players 889):

1st. Vadzim Kursevich, Belarus, €875,000
2nd. Paul Guichard, France, €557,000
3rd. Vuong Than Trong, France, €328,000
4th. Yorane Kerignard, France, €260,000
