Rinat Bogdanov wins The 2012 WPT Vence Grand Prix.

The 2012 WPT Venice Grand Prix is now over and Russia’s Rinat Bogdanov has come out on top, earning $302,000 and his first World Poker Tour title.

Bogdanov outlasted 154 other players, and this win absolutely dwarfs his other results, which consist of just three small events in Cyprus.

The Russian says, that he is not a professional poker player. He earns a living as a stock broker and this was his first ever WPT event.

Runner-up was Alessandro Longobardi and Andrea Dato took the 3rd place. Dato was looking to improve on the fourth-place finish he posted at the last WPT Venice event in 2011.
