It's been a great few weeks for Alexey "LuckyGump" Makarov and with the addition of yesterdays leader board topping $144k win his winnings for 2012 are fast approaching the 1/2 million dollar mark.
Makarov made his mark yesterday the the PLO ring games. He played from $25/$50 up to $100/$200, making the lion's share of his profits at the higher tables with sessions of $45k and $58k at the $100/$200 tables.

After losing $67k yesterday Ben86 will be relieved to have had a good day yesterday as he netted $104k for the day - putting him nearly even for 2012, a year which has so far seen him yo-yo from just above even to -$320k and back again. Most of his winnings yesterdasy came at the PLO tables although he did bag a small NL win in during his morning session.
The biggest winning hands of the past 24 hours actually emerged during some early hours play this morning where Rafi "refaelamit" Amit went on a heater - particularly on table Mineura VI where he won $207k in just over 400 hands in a five hour session in which he also three of the four biggest hands of the past 24 hours. Yeterdays biggest loser was Davin "mTw-DaviN" Georgi who dropped $158k playing PLO. It has been a brutal couple of weeks for Georgi who had started the year fantastically, sitting on around $600k profit until two weeks ago. He is now negative $77k for the year after some heavy losses.
Also dropping six figures yesterday were toweliestar who lost $135k and is himself on a nasty downswing, having dropped around half a million dollars in the past month and high stakes fish Zypherin who lost $114k yesterday and is now down $1.4 million on Stars since we began tracking at the end of 2010.
