Ville Wahlbeck is approaching $400k profit this week after another winning day yesterday as he took $190k at the high stakes PLO tables at PokerStars.
Wahlbeck won around $75k playing $50/$100 and the rest at $100/$200 and practically all of it in early morning sessions where he played over 1000 of his 1019 hands for the day. Wahlbeck enjoyed 9 winning sessions and only two small losing ones (one of those was a mere $62 loss) and played in the six max games alongside high stakes regulars including gavz101, LuckyGump, refaelamit, milkybarkid, mTw-DaviN, patpatman and Ilari FIN.
Ville's biggest hands are shown below;
LuckyGump banks on Wahlbeck chasing the flush and puts his money in dead on the turn - $59k pot
Wahlbeck's flopped set boats up on the river in this three way $46k pot
There were much bigger hands yesterday however - the top two played in the early hours and won by Rafi "refaelamit" Amit. These hands were also shown in yesterdays report;
Although patpatman's Aces are ahead when the last of the money goes in on the turn refaelamit still has enormous equity in this hand with his monster wrap and open ended straight flush draw - $132k pot
refaelamit improves his set of 7's to a set of J's on the river in this $93k pot vs toweliestar
In the early hours it looked like Rafi could be in for a big winning day as he worked up a $200k profit in the first couple of hours of the day. However, he ended the day with some big losing sessions and only ended up with a $38k win, still enough to put him in the top 10 winners for the day.
Second on the winners list was Eugene "oogee" Yanayt who once again faced off against RaiseOnce at the draw tables and beat him for $136k in 115 hands. The other six figure winner yesterday was MaiseE, the Swedish newcomer who has accumulated nearly $600k in winnings in the past seven days, adding $129k through yesterdays play.
The days biggest loser was English PLO specialist Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane who lost $136k in the PLO ring games followed by the aforementioned RaiseOnce who lost $132k playing Draw and patpatman who's $97k loss drops him just below the $1 million profit barrier for 2012.
