Phil Laak and Patrik Antonius are off to a good start at PartyPoker Premier League (buy-in $125,000) in Vienna, Austria. Laak drew first blood as he took the day' heat in Group A, while Antonius won the Group B.

Group A consisted of Luke Schwartz, Tony G, Erik Seidel, Eugene Katachalov, Phil Laak, Andy Frankenberger, online qualifier Matthew Frankland and Sam Trickett, who took Tom Dwan's seat after the online legend reportedly missed a flight from Hong Kong.

However, Dwan made it to the Group B today after a wild series of events. Dwan played with Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates, Vanessa Selbst, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Scott Seiver, Ben Wilinofsky and Patrik Antonius, the latter one winning the heat.

Both Laak and Antonius received a cash prize of $32,000 as well as 16 points for the running league scoreboard.

According to PartyPoker Blog, the eventual Premier League winner will receive no less than $500,000 plus entry into the $25,000 WPT World Championship at Bellagio.
