It looks like Ben "Ben86" Tollerene has finally shaken off the "break even" curse that had been following him around this year and put together a string of good results this week to put him well and truly in the black for 2012.
Yesterday proved to be another great day for the US pro as the action hotted up again at the PokerStars highstakes tables after a slow day yesterday as he took over $220k at the $100/$200 PLO tables in under two hours play.
Playing against Fake Love888, 1-ronnyr3, Ilari FIN and Jeans89 Ben was able to quickly build up substantial stacks at both tables of $100/$200 he played. Strangely enough, despite only playing around 200 hands and winning $220k in the process Ben86 didn't actually feature in any of the days biggest hands. Nevertheless he won a substantial amount of medium/good pots - the biggest two of which are seen below;
Ilari FIN was steaming by the time he played this pot - he is nowhere as Ben86's top two boat up on the river - $54.6k pot
Cooler for Ilari this time as Ben86 takes down this $52k pot
Yesterdays result puts Ben86 over $420k to the good in 2012 after winning over $600k this week. Other big winners in yesterdays games include Swiss pro 1-ronnyr3 who bagged a $150k payday and there were also six figure scores for Sauce123 (+$126k), Tsubi87 (+$123k) and insyder19 (+$105k)
There was a six figure pot played out during yesterdays $50/$100 PLO sessions won by Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser
1-ronnyr3 flops well to take down this three way all in pre-flop pot of $110k
Ilari FIN was once again ended as the days biggest loser with a -$161k day and has now lost over $600k in the past couple of weeks after such a great run through March. Once again he is now the years biggest loser at -$716k.
He was joined in the negative six figure club yesterday by Fake Love888 (rumoured to be Patrik Antonius) who lost $126k in just over 200 hands.
