EPT Grand Final Main Event underway

The €10,600 buy-in EPT Grand Final Main Event in Monte Carlo is now underway. Both starting days (1A and 1B) attracted a total of 665 players and approximately 400 players will come back today for day 2.

With a prize pool of €6,650,000, a total of 96 players will end up in the money, with the eventual winner walking away with €1.5 million.

Here are the top 5 chip counts after day 1A and 1B:

  1. Nick Yunis          191,700     
  2. Ivan Kudriavtcev         186,200     
  3. Andoni Larrabe Sánchez         181,300     
  4. Martin Kabrhel         167,800     
  5. Franck Blanc         160,800       

The remaining field of players include also Tom kingsofcards Marchese (112,000), Scott "mastrblastr" Seiver (99,800), Mickey "mement_mori" Petersen (98,800), Dominykas "Domce" Karmazinas (81,600), Phil Ivey (72,000), Ville Wahlbeck (61,700) and Daniel Negreanu (22,400).

The play will continue for the whole weekend and a champion is expected to be found on Tuesday night.
