According to PokerPortalAsia, Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan is again in Macau at StarWorld Hotel’s Poker King Club playing for millions of dollars.
"Tom Dwan seems to have been the only well-known pro sitting in regularly while Andrew Robl has also joined in one session. But it was Dwan’s efforts that reportedly paid off handsomely on Tuesday night when he picked up a mammoth pot of more than HKD $30 million (USD $3.8 million).", PokerPortalAsia claims.
Apparently the record hand saw all the money going in on a A-T-2 flop. Dwan had A-T for top two pair, while a Chinese businessman had A-2 for a weaker two pair.
The turn and river didn't give any help to the Chinese businessman, and Dwan took down the huge USD $3.8 million pot.
However, it should be mentioned that Dwan or anyone else in that matter have not confirmed the hand, and it is pure speculation at this point did the hand actually happen.
What we do know for sure, is that the World Series of Poker 2012 is nearly upon us, and we can expect that Dwan (and many others) will be heading soon to Las Vegas for the annual WSOP.
