Phisherman36 has been seriously active at the high stakes PLO tables over the past couple of weeks and he recouped most of his $305k losses from a couple of days ago, with a $251k win to finish the day as the biggest winner. It was a really busy day at the PLO tables with both him and !P0krparty¡ putting in there standard long sessions, with the latter ending as the biggest loser of the day.
The majority of the high stakes action yesterday was at the $50/$100 PLO tables, particularly the deep ante tables, featuring many top regulars. Phisherman36 played over 7,500 hands with the majority at this stake and mostly at the six-max tables. Another big winner in these games was Irish-based player EireAbu who won $204k and is now up $1.6 million for the year - very impressive for a player who plays just $25/$50 and $50/$100. Terje "Terken89" Augdal also had another good day, booking a win of $96k. Other big winners in these games were David "Deldar182" Eldar (+$85k) and Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky (+$71k), the latter of whom is now up $1.73 million this year, making him the biggest winner of the year so far, with many people claiming that he is the best NLHE/PLO currently playing on PokerStars. Sauce123 wins the $75k main pot and !P0krparty¡'s wins the $34k side pot in the biggest pot of the day.
!P0krparty¡ put in another long session yesterday and played 6,350 hands but it didn't fare well as he ended the day as the biggest loser with his $164k loss. Ben "Ben86" Tollerene had a surprising bad day, losing $138k over a short period of time, before deciding to call it a day. German player doncarignano lost $121k in the PLO games and Domce managed to lose $106k in less than 320 hands. We also witnessed Viktor "Isildur1" Blom play some PLO after yet another deep run in the SCOOP (finishing 5th in the $2,100 PLO HU event for $18.4k) but he didn't do so well in the cash games as he lost $83k. He has yet to play a lengthy session after his two tournament wins but hopefully we will see him at the tables very soon.
Phisherman36's top set holds up against !P0krparty¡'s nut flush draw to scoop this $71k pot .
There was also some good NLHE action featuring Alex "Kanu7" Millar (+$98k) who played a heads-up match at $50/$100 against Randy "nanonoko" Lew (-$158k). Kanu7 dominated the match beating arguably the best NLHE grinder, for $129k.
