Ignat "0Human0" Liviu had a good day at the high stakes tables with a $69k win in a generally quiet day. There were no six figure winners/losers or pots but the day did feature action between some notable players. The action was predominantly at the $50/$100 PLO tables although there was a reasonable amount of action at the $50/$100 and $100/$200 NLHE tables.
0Human0 played both PLO and NLHE yesterday, mostly at $50/$100. He won about $30k in the $50/$100 NLHE games, $13k at $100/$200 NLHE and the remainder at $50/$100 PLO. He was joined at the $50/$100 PLO tables by other recognisable names including Domce who is Lithuanian player, Dominykas Karmazinas. He won $36k yesterday in just 167 hands and is currently in action (so we will update you on his current results in our daily report tomorrow). You may recognise his real name from the Party Poker Big Game VI which was held in Vienna where he wasn't afraid to gamble and was involved in a few encounters with Tony G. Other winners in the $50/$100 PLO action were another Romanian player, although this one has kind of come out of nowhere unlike 0Human0 who has grinded his way through the stakes, and that is Phisherman36 who won $29k; he is currently Domce's opponent heads-up.
The biggest loser in the PLO games was surprisingly Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, whose $66k loss meant that he had his first losing day since 18 April. He did not play any $50/$100 and instead was grinding it at the $25/$50 tables. He was not, however, the biggest loser of the day, and that was German pro doncarignano (-$72k). He has now lost close to $350k in the past week. HighstakesDB had the privilege of interviewing the online poker phenom that is Sauce123, and you can read the full interview here.
Sauce123 was involved in the biggest pot of the day against scout326 in which they both flop the second nuts at $50/$100 NLHE and split the $79k pot.
The other big winners and losers of the day played NLHE, and the biggest winner in these games was Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil (+$53k). He has been grinding it at the NLHE tables recently as he has lost $1 million since March primarily at PLO; a game whose variance means big swings. Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates had yet another good day on PokerStars (+$42k). He won most of his money against patpatman who has returned online recently, and whose identity is still speculated by many in the forums. German pro (whose based in the UK) Niklas "ragen70" Heineckerragen was the biggest loser at the NLHE tables (-$44k) along with Randy "nanonoko" Lew (-$40k).
Weekend's biggest winners: Ignat "0Human0" Liviu (+$158k), n0d1ceb4by (+$54k), Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates (+$47k), glosik (+$45k)
Weekend's biggest losers: !P0krparty¡ (-$137k), Sussie Smith (-$83k), Leo "ISILDRooN" Nordin (-$81k), doncarignano (-$72k)
