Day 13 of the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) was a great day for US poker pro and businessman Faraz "The-Toilet 0" Jaka. He won his first SCOOP title in Event 33-H ($2,100 NLHE 1R1A) to win a staggering $173,720. Event 32 completed its second/final day of play yesterday and Events 34 and 35 which were both one day events also took place. We witnessed top high stakes pros make deep runs in some of the events including Mafews and MaiseE with other top MTT specialists once again making impressive scores such as djk123 and BrynKenney.
Event 32-H, $2,100 PL Omaha Hi/Lo [$250k Gtd]
Entrants: 140, Total prize pool: $280,000
1st place: bleu329 (Thailand) $64,400

3rd place: Aquasces1 (Canada) $34,020
4th place: PICKLED EGG (Brazil) $25,200
5th place: Rory "Mafews" Mathews (United Kingdom) $16,800
The final hand of the tournament was a surprising pre-flop raising war which is not common to see in this format with gmcrafter holding AK92 against his opponent's AT73, with the latter hand flopping a straight and hitting the nut low on the river to secure bleu329 a SCOOP title (and Thailand's second one in two days).
Event 33-M, $215 NLHE [1R1A, $325k Gtd]

Event 33-H, $2,100 NLHE [1R1A, $500k Gtd]
Entrants: 175, Total prize pool: $808,000 (175 entries, 120 re-buys, 109 add-ons)
1st place: Faraz "The-Toilet 0" Jaka (Mexico) - $173,720
2nd place: HC_68 (Austria) - $125,240
3rd place: zugzwang16 (Uruguay) - $94,940
4th place: römpsä (Finland) - $70,700
5th place: Max Lykov (Russia) - $48,480

7th place: HITTHEPANDA (Canada) - $32,320
8th place: RandALLin (Mexico) - $24,240
9th place: Rory "Mafews" Mathews (United Kingdom) - $16,160
Other notable finishes: Bryn "BrynKenney" Kenney (11th - $14,140), Shaun "shaundeeb" Deeb (12th - $14,140), Philipp "philbort" Gruissem (14th - $12,120)
This was an extremely tough final table with some well-known players looking to make a big score. HC_68 entered the final table with the chip lead but by the time that heads-up play came about, his chip stack was virtually the same as when he started whereas The-Toilet 0 had an over 2.5-1 chip advantage. The latter did run very well especially at the beginning of play when he open-shoved with pocket sixes only to get called by Mafews' pocket tens; he managed to spike a 6 on the river to eliminate the Scottish pro. He once again got lucky on the final hand of play when all the money went in on a J72ss flop with HC_68 holding pocket tens and Jaka having 63ss for a flush draw. He hit one of his nine outs on the turn to earn him $173k and the coveted SCOOP title.
Event 34-H, $5,200 FLHE [6-max, $125k Gtd]
Entrants: 62, Total prize pool: $310,000
1st place: ibadbeatyou (Taiwan) - $93,000

5th place: MaiseE (Sweden) - $23,250
6th place: treezer (Sweden) - $17,050
Other notable finishes: Sorel "zangbezan24" Mizzi (7th - $12,400), K_0_S_T_Y_A (8th - $12,400), Enon (10th), GVODZIKA55 (11th), JesusLebtNOT (12th)
djk123 makes another impressive score finishing third for $46.5k in addition to the victory he had the day before yesterday in Event 29-M for $73k. BrynKenney also makes another deep run as he has been doing in a fair few tournaments this SCOOP series and he will be hoping that he will able to pull off a victory in one of the remaining tournaments. This was another difficult final table with surprisingly the least well-known players making it to the heads-up stage. ibadbeatyou held a more than 2-1 chip lead going into the encounter and continued to put pressure on his opponent, to eventually win the SCOOP title (and watch) and $93k.
