Chris "Genius28" Lee has been having a great May so far winning $570k so far this month including his $340k win from yesterday. He played just under 1,500 hands mostly at $100/$200 PLO where he won over $100k on one table and more than $220k on another. He won two of the three biggest pots of the day as well and we witnessed some great action yesterday as high as $200/$400.
The focus of the action yesterday was at the $100/$200 PLO tables rather than the $50/$100 ones which we have been accustomed to seeing recently. There were a few players who put in a lengthy session probably because 'high stakes fish' Zypherin (rumoured to be Guy Laliberte) was playing. He once again had a poor day at the tables losing $173k which puts his losses for this year alone at over $2.2 million (and its been less than five months so far in 2012). If it is Guy, then it won't really have an effect on his finances as this figure is less than 0.1% of his net worth. He was not however the biggest loser of the day and that was Macau-based player patpatman who lost $240k which meant that he was the biggest loser of the day. The identity of this player is still speculated by many but the fact that he plays the highest stakes against tough opponents at both NLHE and PLO and he likes to play deep should narrow down the field. The other six-figure loser for the day was Finnish pro Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen (-$111k) who has not been very active at the tables over the past couple of months, maybe because he is preparing his tournament game for the upcoming $1 million WSOP event that he has registered for.

Genius28 was joined on the winner's list by another notable high stakes pros. This included Ben "Ben86" Tollerene who won $210k and was refused action by patpatman and Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies at the $200/$400 tables because they called him a "big nit". Regardless of his playing style, he has had a great year winning over $950k so far. Ilari FIN had an amazing rush last night as he played just 87 hands but won $145k at $200/$400 PLO. He sat down with what he said was his "last money" and did extremely well against patpatman whom he won the biggest pot of the day against. They also decided to do a flip before Ilari logged off, each putting in $30k regardless of their cards, but unfortunately for him, patpatman scooped the $60k pot when he made a flush on the river.
