While we have been concentrating on things happened over in Vegas at the WSOP one man has been quietly going about his preferred hobby - crushing highstakes HU NLHE - and doing a grand job as 2011's biggest NLHE winner on PokerStars, Alex "Kanu7" Millar has taken over $350k from one time 2012 leading highstakes money winner at PokerStars, patpatman.
The two have now duked it out on consecutive nights at the $200/$400 NLHE HU tables for around 1200 hands over 3.5 hours of play and from the seven tables played, patpatman only came out on top in one of them for less than $30k - and to take that small victory he had to suck out on Millar for the biggest pot of the entire match (and indeed the past two weeks)

It was Millar however who won the lion's share of the other pots, big or otherwise and at the conclusion of both Sunday and Monday's sessions patpatman conceeded defeat in the chat box, offering a simple "I surrender" before leaving the table. Millar's biggest pots of the match can be seen below;

Both players still sit among the top 4 NLHE highstakes winners at PokerStars this year (Kanu7 in 3rd with $485k, patpatman in 4th with $369k) but both have a long way to go to catch Sven Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker who has over $1million already in the bag.
These matches were the stand out encounters of the past few days, although a few others made decent results along the way with Theo J making $134k in the the PLO games and Phil "takechip" D'Auteuil making $110k yesterday, mainly in a $50/$100 PLO heads up battle against wilhasha - although wilhasha is currently doing very well playing some $100/$200 PLO having taken around $100k in the past couple of hours against Eunjong Byun although we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how that one finishes up.
