Once again it was play at the NLHE tables which produced the days biggest winner as wilhasha resumed his ongoing (and to date rather successful) match with Korean pro Eunjong Byun.
wilhasha took on Byun at their usual $100/$200 stakes in a confrontation lasting around two hours. The vast majority of the play was heads up (Byun playing a little six max as well where he had considerably more success) and the two played around 800 hands.
Here are wilhasha's two biggest hands of yesterdays confrontation;
Cooler for Byun as both players flop trip 9's - wilhasha's kicker was likely to play anyway although he rivers a boat just to make sure - $54k pot
Eunjong Byun plays his top pair cautiously allowing wilhasha to hit a gutshot straight draw on the river to scoop this $50k pot
There were no other big scores yesterday, the nearest to wilhasha more than $110k off his days score with a $43.8k win for mactsai. However, nearly all those in the top ten yesterday can thank 5tgb6yhn7 for their modest wins as he donated to practically everyone playing the $50/$100 PLO ring games yesterday on the way to a crushing $195k loss in under 600 hands.
This eclipsed Eunjong Byun's $87.7k loss yesterday - as previously stated although he lost heavily to wilhasha he made a good showing a little earlier in the morning at the six max NLHE tables.
Day's biggest winners: wilhasha (+$156k), mactsai (+$44k), Rob "Vaga_Lion" Akery (+$42.5k)
Day's biggest losers: 5tgb6yhn7, (-$195k) Eunjong Byun, (-$88k) ActionZzZ, (-$40.5k)
