Seems like it's all about wilhasha again this weekend, as he went up against patpatman on Saturday and archrival Alex "Kanu7” Millar on Sunday in two action-packed NLHE games. Saturday's match saw wilhasha walk away $114k richer, with the biggest pot being this $78k bluff attempt from patpatman, where wilhasha's value-bet turns into a bluff-catcher. He then went on to finish the day $142k in the black after also beating Flying Smile for $28k.
Unfortunately for the Swede Sunday night's game was completely the opposite, as Kanu7 took him for a huge $299k over the course of the day and over 2707 hands. They played 2 short sessions at 50/100, but most of the damage was done during their 4 and a half hour long 100/200 session. In the chat afterwards Kanu7 admitted he had run very well, and wilhasha said that he doesn't care about money, but doesn't plan to have a rematch "for some time after this beat". Unfortunately for us. Hopefully he will still continue to play others in the meantime though.
The biggest hand from Sunday unsurprisingly came from that heads up, this huge $117k cooler. Not much else to be said about that, just brutal!
The 4th largest hand of the day was this impressive $69k calldown. Wilhasha has the "heart and commitment", but Kanu7 equals it.
Saturday's biggest pot actually came during a heads up between EireAbu and teemu187, this $109k hand, where teemu187 picks up a flush draw, but it's the uglier bigger full house that gets there.
And over in the PLO games on Sunday, glosik was at the heart of most the action, both heads up and six-max. He put in a total of 2500 hands on Sunday against familiar foes such as EireAbu and terryhsu, who won 48k and 1k respectively, while glosik finished down 31k after a rollercoaster of a day. Ilari FIN also came back briefly, but unfortunately lost $29k in the games. Let's hope he sticks around.
One of the more noteworthy hands from that session was this harsh beat where again EireAbu's flopped set gets outdrawn for $33k.
