According to his Twitter, Antonio Esfandiari will be playing the $1 million Big One for One Drop at the 2012 World Series of Poker, which kicks off this Sunday.
Esfandiari's participation in the Big One hasn't been confirmed by the WSOP yet, but if his statement turn out to be true, it is starting to look like the 48-player cap will be easily reached (if it hasn't already).
Other notable players like Phil Hellmuth, Jean-Robert Bellande and Ben Lamb have all confirmed their interest for the tournament but have not yet registered, so it remains to be seen how the final line-up will look like.
One big question is, that will Phil Ivey, who has had a tremendous WSOP so far, play the One Drop event? We will find out that soon enough, since The Big One For One Drop will run from Sunday 01 July – Tuesday 03 July.
