Sam Trickett was assaulted outside a Las Vegas night club after celebrating his runner-up finish at the $1 million BIG ONE For ONE DROP event last night.
According to his Twitter, Trickett, who received $10.1 million for his second place in poker’s historic event, was assaulted by six men on his way out of the club.
“Was having a great day until 6 guys did this to me. Seriously Wtf? Couldn’t be more angry… #cowards”, Trickett wrote on Twitter and also uploaded a picture, which showed the injuries (see the picture on the right).
Later Trickett added these comments: “Is this what happens if ur successful? literally beat the shit out of me and spat in @NatashaSandhu face all over nothing…”
Trickett’s girlfriend Natasha also commented the assault on her twitter: “It wasn’t a mugging or anything just over nothing, Sam is fine..gonna spend some quality time together now :)”
