Bernsden12 Keeps Up The Good Form - Wins $175k While EireAbu Tops $3 million for 2012

It's been a good week for Sander "Bernsden12" Berndsen who, after yesterdays table topping $175k win has now booked over half a million dollars in winnings in the past seven days. The results couldn't have come at a better time for the young Dutch Pro as just last month he hit his all time low in the past two years at pokerstars, being nearly $700k in the hole.

Yesterday Berndsen12 tore through the tables playing any and everyone at a variety of limits at both PLO and NLHE. He played as low as $25/$50 NLHE up to $200/$400 PLO and everything in between - winning everywhere along the way as he put in a good 12 hour day and played nearly 4.5k hands.

Bernsden's day started well as he took around $50k from the morning $200/$400 PLO sessions playing against Ilari FIN, 0Human0, Terken89 and superatos before switching to heads up NLHE at the $100/$200 limit. He played for around four hours here against several opponents including; donthnrmepls, wilhasha, PimpyLimpy and 26071985 - coming out once again around $50k to the good.

After a short (and once again profitable) $25/$50 NLHE session against PimpyLimpy Bernsden12 played a lengthy duel at $50/$100 PLO against longerpig - and once again Bernsden12 was the clear winner, taking close to $70k from his opponent in a +2k hand afternoon/evening session.

Big cooler for Ilari FIN as his flopped set is outdrawn as Bernsden12 makes top set on the turn after the money goes in on the flop - $56.3k pot

The two biggest hands of the day however came from an epic duel at the $100/$200 NLHE tables between altiFC and wilhasha;

altiFC makes a hero call on the river and it costs him dearly - $106k pot

All in preflop and off to the races - altiFC flops top set to take this $101.6k pot

This three hour match was dominated by altiFC who walked away a $110k winner, putting him third on the days leader board at PokerStars high stakes tables.

There were other six figure winners yesterday as forhayley posted a $127k win courtesy of some early morning $200/$400 and $100/$200 NLHE. See forhayley's biggest pot of the day below;

Also the man of 2012, EireAbu, also put in another six figure performance - racking up a $101k win putting him over $3 million in profit for this year. EireAbu won his money in an early evening encounter with Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, who had been enjoying moderate success himself yesterday until facing EireAbu. After losing to EireAbu Isildur1 ended up a $50k loser for the day.

The days biggest loser was Ilari FIN, as his rollercoaster results continue as per usual. Yesterday he dropped $168.5k in just an hours play at the $200/$400 stakes - the same stakes at which he had a monster +$367k day on Friday.
