It was a quieter day at the PokerStars high stakes tables yesterday with no six figure winners. We did have some play at the $200/$400 PLO and NLHE tables but not enough to warrant much attention. Once again the days biggest winner plied his trade at the $50/$100 PLO tables as M.O.P. made a $70.6k profit in just over 1000 hands yesterday.
It was more a case of a good, solid grind than anything spectacular from M.O.P who also played some $25/$50 PLO with his biggest win at any individual table being less than $22k and his biggest hand of the day a touch over $16k.
There were no huge hands yesterday, however a couple of six figure hands have already taken place in this morning sessions with the biggest played at the $100/$200 PLO tables;
ChaoRen160's flopped top two outlast Jeans89's wired Aces - $115k pot
The second six figure pot occurred at the $50/$100 PLO tables;
kaju85 is in bad shape when the cards are turned over and his KK loses this $103k pot to longerpig's AA
The aforementioned kaju85 had a pretty good day yesterday, finishing second on the leader board with a $64k win, again mostly won at the $50/$100 PLO tables. However, that victory is currently counting for nothing as kaju85 has taken something of a beating this morning at $50/$100 against the likes of 1-ronnyr3 and particularly longerpig and is currently over $200k down this morning. The win will help longerpig redress the balance from yesterday where he found himself a $71k loser.
Having the worst of it yesterday was the yo-yo that is Ilari FIN as he made a pretty big $141k loss playing mainly $100/$200 PLO. He lost his money in around an hour of play at the six max tables playing against the likes of ChaoRen169 and Jeans89 who both walked away winners from these sessions. After finally putting himself in profit for the year after some huge wins last week, Ilari has now slipped back and is now a $270k loser for 2012 once more.
