Yesterday (and today) has seen the big guns come out for some entertaining and wild $200/$400 PLO games. The big winner was Ben "Ben86" Tollerene with a $306k win which will come as a relief for the US pro as he has been on the wrong end of a $1 million downswing in the past few months. The day however looked like it would belong to Finland as at one point Ilari FIN was up $500k, Jeans89 was approaching $250k profit and römpsä was sitting at around $150k profit. All three however lost considerable chunks of those profits, with Ilari and Jeans losing around $700k between them in the $200/$400 games.
The games began late morning and ran for around twelve hours and for the first 3/4 of the day Ilari FIN really kicked up a storm, running riot across the tables and blasting to a $500k profit. The main donator at this stage was Mondays big winner L0ve2playU who lost money in every one of the 12 sessions he played yesterday, including a $137k loss at table during his last 19 minutes of the day. He eventually retired the days biggest loser at -$297k.
Ilari however played on and kept on winning on his way to his $500k highpoint. Oddly enough, especially considering Ilari can usually be counted on the take down some big six figure pots when he's on a tear at the nosebleeds, he didn't actually post any of the days biggest hands, his best effort not breaking $80k. The hand, shown below, actually occurred when Ilari was on his way back down the mountain!
Ilari connected well with the board to outgun Ben86's Aces - $79.99k pot
For much of Ilari's dominance Ben86 wasn't at the tables, he joined during the last few hours of play and in fact looked like he might be on for yet another beating as shortly after joining the big game as he went down around $140k before staging a fantastic comeback and winning $440k over the next 3.5 hours to end as the days biggest winner. He also snagged the biggest pot of the day;

During the same period Ben86 won his days haul, Ilari was busy losing his - still ending the day a six figure winner with a $100.7k win but he lost most of what he won in the first 1200 hands in the last 300. In fact, Ilari came back for more $200/$400 action around 3am server time and lost another $100k making him practically even over the past twenty four hours - the main benefactor of Ilari's late return being Gozoboro. After a great beggining to last month, Ilari is now down around $3/4 million in the past three weeks.
Besides L0ve2playU there was one other six figure loser as Daniel "w00ki3z." Cates logges a $171k loss in the big games and is now even for the past week after taking a +$300k first few days. Despite the big loss Cates did put the days second biggest hand on the board;

Despite the huge amount of big play and interim results when the day ended there was only one other six figure winner as Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser took a $114k win in the big PLO games.
