Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen has been on something of a tear of late at PokerStars high stakes PLO tables, and added a further $102k to his bulging bank balance yesterday. Jeans89 is no up close to $800k in September alone and over $2.3 million in profit this year. In fact, the young Finnish pro is the biggest winner at PokerStars highstakes tables since we started tracking them back in 2010 showing a $3.75m profit in under two years.
Yesterday it was from the $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO tables that Jens earned his money and also where he took down his biggest pot of the day;
It would be interesting to see patpatman's hand here - whatever it was it was never going to be Jeans89's rivered straight flush in this $72k pot
The biggest pot of the day also came from this session;
Skjervøy flops a decent hand with KK and a K high flush draw but patpatman has him beaten in every department with AA and and Ace high flush draw to take down this $88.9k pot
As well as his involvement in both the biggest pots of the day patpatman also featured high up on the daily winners list, making a $92.6k win for second behind Jeans89. It was a bad day at the tables all round however for Skjervøy who posted the only six figure loss of the day, dropping $108.3k, putting him back in the red for 2012 after being just $18k in profit for the year prior to yesterdays sessions.
There was no action at the draw or FLO8 tables yesterday for the first time in a while and only a little NHLE, in which the days biggest winner was Randy "nanonoko" Lew who won $51k at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 tables.
