Barcode Wins Over $500k - Isildur1 Booms & Busts Once More

Barcode continues his terrific run with over half a million dollars won yesterday
Isildur1 made a lot of money yesterday - then lost it all again

1Il|1Il|1il| or "Barcode" as he is known continued his epic heater yesterday with a massive $557k win - the player (who has recently been rumoured to be Di "trex313" Dang) is now over $1.6m up in the past three weeks.

Yesterday there was an absolute wealth of $200/$400 PLO action and was at these stakes that Barcode took most of his money, although he also saw success at the $100/$200 and $50/$100 PLO tables. It was a long day for the Canadian registered player as he put in over 10 hours from early morning before taking a few hours break and commencing a near four hour evening session.

Despite being the biggest winner of the day by quite a considerable margin Barcode didn't actually take down any of the days biggest pots. He did however take down a couple of six figure hands;

Perhaps the reason that Barcode didn't feature in many of the top pots was because a lot of his poker was played without the presence of one Viktor "Isildur1" Blom who once again started to rack up a potentially huge win as he rose up through the stakes, only to once again drop it all and more before the close of play.

At one point Blom was showing a $470k profit over the course of 24 hours (although some 2-7 Triple Draw sessions which were added later probably dampended this running total a little) but it seems that the young Swede is actually incapable of leaving the tables while he has either money on opponents at the table these days. Despite saying yet again in chat that he was only playing for a few more minutes he remained at the table for many more hours. The daily results show a $96k profit for Blom but by the time he left the tables he had lost this and a further $120k.

With the likes of Blom and Gus "broksi" Hansen at the tables the play was fast and loose with the likes of Sauce123 and MrSweets28 also loosening up their games shooting for big scores. While Isildur was involved in a fair few six figure pots he didn't actually feature in the days biggest pots;

Sauce123's Aces outlast Sam "tr1cky7"'s KKQQ in this $185.8k pot

broksi gets a little unlucky as he flops the nuts with a flush draw, only to find Jeans89 with the nut flush draw which completes on the turn after the money has gone in - $173.7k pot

A somewhat loose call from broksi pays off as he rivers two pair to beat MrSweets28's Aces - $171.6k pot

Also faring well at the $200/$400 PLO tables (as well as the $50/$100 tables) was of course Ben86 who scooped yet another six figure win as he won $133k for the day. MrSweets28 also made a six figure score, winning $104k after overcoming a near $200k deficit at one point during play - mostly as the expense of Isildur1. The only six figure winner who didn't emerge from the PLO tables was GVOZDIKA55 whose $110.4k win came almost exclusively from the FLO8 tables (with a little coming at the draw tables).

Despite being the biggest FLO8 winner of the day (winning $124k) broksi was a big loser yesterday, dropping $225k after some disastrous PLO sessions. Although once again the biggest loser was patpatman who dropped $375k and who has now lost $3 million since May this year.

Yesterday's Biggest Winners

  • 1Il|1Il|1il| +$557.7k
  • Ben86 +$133.2k
  • GVOZDIKA55 +$110.4k
  • MrSweets28 +$103.9k
