There was one six figure winner yesterday in UK poker star Sam "tr1cky7" Trickett who took down a $151.4k win yesterday mainly at the $50/$100 PLO tables.
It's been a stellar year from the young Brit who has now got over half a million dollars in high stakes winnings at PokerStars to add to the astonishing $11 million and change he was won on the tournament circuit this year (following a second place finish at the $1 million entry "The Big One for One Drop" for over $10 million and 7th place in the $258k Macau High Roller Event for $1 million).
Trickett played for seven hours yesterday playing 29 tables in total, 28 of which were played at the $50/$100 stakes with one $100/$200 session which netted him $31.5k (the rest being taken at the lower stakes).
Trickett didn't find himself involved in any of the days biggest hands but did pull off one >$50k hand yesterday;
Odd_Oddsen bluff raises the river but tr1cky7 had flopped a full house and wasn't going anywhere in this $56.3k pot
The biggest pot of the day was already covered in yesterdays report as MrSweets28 flopped the nut straight vs patpatman's top set in a morning heads up session of $200/$400 PLO. For those who haven't yet seen it here is that $95.4k pot
The second biggest pot went to Odd_Oddsen after Ben86 gets it in good with the nuts only to see Oddsen's higher straight draw arrive on the river in this $85.5k pot
Despite losing that pot Ben86 still managed to eke out a $27k win yesterday and is still eating away at Sauce123's 2012 leader board topping lead.
As discussed there were no other six figure winners yesterday although there were some other decent wins at the PLO tables as 1-ronnyr3 (+$97.8k) and Jeans89 (+$82.1k) made strong showings.
Once again patpatman was the days biggest loser as his woes were added to by a $129.9k loss. We also saw a rare six figure loss for Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond as, after a good start to the day playing heads up at $200/$400 against patpatman he lost his way in the evening $50/$100 sessions to end the day a $103.7k loser.
Further down the losers list we once again see Isildur1 who once again started brightly before going on a big slump to end the day $82k in the hole. In fact he rallied somewhat towards the end of the day or else his loss could have been much bigger. In fact it's hard to say how his session will end up as he is currently still playing and during the early hours he has not only clawed back yesterdays losses but is currently showing a $60k profit for the past 48 hours (however, by the time this has been published that almost certainly won't be accurate!).
