Sauce123 Wins Big Again - Takes $344k as Isildur1 Lets Huge Win Slide

Sauce123 has certainly shaken off his October downswing and is now more than $500k up over the past two days
Once again Viktor Blom provided much of the entertainment last nigh with another wild up and down day

Yesterday saw a heap of high stakes action at PokerStars online tables and once again the focus of the action was fan favourite Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. The biggest benefactor from Blom's antics yesterday was his arch rival (and the only player to have taken over $500k from Blom) Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, who ended up the days biggest winner after taking a $344k win at the $200/$400 PLO tables.

As reported yesterday, Isildur1 made a great start to the day in some sessions which rolled past midnight server time into Sunday where he left the tables with a decent six figure head start to the day after wins at the FLO8 and 2-7 triple draw tables. As predicted this wasn't the last we'd seen of the enigmatic Swede and obviously word had got out that Blom had cash to burn as when he returned to the FLO8 tables for an afternoon session he found the sharks circling. In a most unusual occurrence we saw four full ring tables of FLO8 running, with Blom playing at them all. He was pitted against the likes of joisoHarrington10, Sauce123patpatmanRaiseOncebernard-bbTheo J and Ville Wahlbeck among others and he absolutely crushed! During the six or so hours Blom spent at these tables he won over $400k, steamrollering everyone at the table apart from patpatman and MUSTAFABET who also made a decent showing in these games.

At this point Blom was around $700k in profit. He then decided to move over to the $200/$400 PLO tables where his luck took a dramatic turn for the worse. For the second time this week Blom really can blame his bad luck on a lot of the huge losses he encountered at the PLO tables. In the first hour or two of playing his luck, especially against Sauce123 was appalling, and within no time he had lost well over $300k of his winnings - and at this stage his EV graph was showing he should have been up around $40k on the sessions. As well as bad beats Blom was also on the end of countless coolers, and none cooler than this six figure pot;

Isildur1 no doubt expected this $117k pot to be shipped his way with top full house, only to discover Sauce123 had turned quads

With the tide most definitely turned Blom went on to lose almost all his winnings, and only a c.$70k win at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables during his last hour of play kept him a six figure winner for the day. After the losses were totted up Blom still walked away a $143.9k winner for the day but once again it could have been so much bigger.

One thing Blom did do however was to keep a constant huge cash flow at the tables after he destroyed the limit games and as a result there were a fair few big winners yesterday. VietRussian logged a $232.4k win, faring well at both the $200/$400 PLO games as well as at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables, a super hot barcode joined the PLO games late and walked away a $181.7k winner for the day, FLO8 specialist MUSTAFABET played well at the FLO8 tables for a $174.7k day and Sam "tr1cky7" Trickett continued his great year with a $148.5k win at the big PLO games. One player who won big at lower stakes was Ledicus who managed to snag over $191k in winnings at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 PLO tables, with a big heads up win against "0PIGGYBANK"

Of course with so many big winners there were naturally a few six figure losers, the biggest being Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond who couldn't get anything going in the big PLO games, losing over $261k. BRAZZMONKEY lost $211k at 2-7 TD and a bunch of people lost low six figures from the FLO8 games where Isildur1 dominated, including joiso, Theo J, Ville Wahlbeck and Harrington10.

Yesterday's Biggest Winners

Sauce123 +$344.4k

VietRussian +$232.4k

Ledicus +$191.1k

barcode +$181.7k
