Yesterday saw another good day of action over at the high stakes tables over PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker with good action in plenty of poker variants including NLHE, PLO, FLO8, 2-7 Triple Draw and also some 10 game action (apologies but we will not be able to update the 10 game until later today). The days biggest winner came from the $200/$400 PLO tables at PokerStars as Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser won $200k.
Ronny's wins came predominantly from a $200/$400 PLO session where he took $165k in a two hour session playing against regulars including Jeans89, patpatman, Barcode, SkaiWalkurrrr and eitan2134 - but he also won at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 tables to secure his $200.3k win. This win takes Kaiser over the magic $1 million profit mark at PokerStars this year. However, his day wasn't a complete success as he dropped around $65k at the Full Tilt tables playing as ronnyr37617.
Here is Ronny's biggest hand of the day;
Standard call for 1-ronnyr3 on the flop and his Aces hold up against Barcode's weak draws - $91k pot.
The biggest pot of the day at PokerStars went to Alex "Kanu7" Millar at the $200/$400 NLHE tables where he took on patpatman heads up in an hour long session across three tables. Millar ended the session an $85.7k winner;
Kanu7 gets lucky after making a big bluff on the turn, relying on his flush draw to get him out of trouble in this $103k pot
Over at Full Tilt the days biggest winner was french pro Alex Luneau who won $141.7k at the $1.5k/$3k 2-7 Triple Draw tables in one 90 minute session against Gus Hansen. Gus didn't actually do too much more damage to his bankroll in games he started yesterday however as he had a six figure winning session against cottonseed1 although he did lose another $53k to add to the $1.5 million he lost on Friday.
Other six figure winners yesterday were no_Ola who took $135.4k in some $200/$400 PLO ring games at Full Tilt just past midnight server time, refaelamit who won $118k at PokerStars playing at the $50/$100 PLO tables and O Fortuna PLS who won $116k, mainly at the $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw tables - and mainly against a certain Tom "durrrr" Dwan.
Dwan made his long awaited to return to the virtual felt over at Full Tilt yesterday, shortly after arriving in London from the US. Whether it's a little online "ring rust" or just a bit of bad luck but it hasn't been a successful return to Dwan's former favourite stomping ground as he ended as the days biggest loser, dropping $206.7k - mainly in the aforementioned 2-7 game against Alex Luneau but also in some smaller triple draw games and some PLO. So far it's not been the best of times for the three Full Tilt "Professionals" as all three are showing substantial losses at the moment, with Isildur1 also posting a $92k loss yesterday.
