It seems that everyone is trying their hand at the high stakes Limit games these days. The latest PLO regular to try their hand and the popular 2-7 Triple Draw format is Rui Cao, and yesterday at Full Tilt he crushed German limit specialist O Fortuna PLS to the tune of $233.5k playing in the $500/$1000 and a single hand of $1.5k/$3k.
The pair played for close to seven hours and put in 1,150 hands with Cao dominating from start to finish. This win puts Cao second on the Full Tilt high stakes leader board since the reopening of the site a couple of weeks back showing a $477k profit. He will need a few more days like this however to undo the near $1 million deficit he has run up this year as PepperoniF over at PokerStars.
We also saw a $200k winner over at PokerStars yesterday, although not at the $200/$400 PLO tables, where once again we only saw limited play. The biggest winner was Barcode who won the majority of his $230.8k daily haul at the $50/$100 PLO tables taking on numerous opponents during sessions which span across the entire day from the early hours until the end of the day. Opponents included; Jeans89, 0Human0, skjervoy, HC_68, duubadaaba, longerpig, Odd_Oddsen and refaelamit. He also won close to $60k heads up at the $100/$200 PLO tables against refaelamit as well as a small win at the $200/$400 game which took place late yesterday afternoon.
Here is Barcode's biggest hand of the day;
Barcode gets paid off with the nuts in this $52.5k pot
There were many bigger pots played out yesterday however, with the biggest all coming from a heads up session of $300/$600 NLHE over at Full Tilt between Alex "IReadYrSoul" Millar and Tom "durrrr" Dwan. The match itself ended fairly even with durrrr losing around $15k over the course of c.460 hands and 90 minutes play. Here are the biggest three hands and they all fell to Millar;
Unfortunate turn for durrrr after he flopped two pair - $129.6k pot
durrrr is crushed as he shoves pre-flop against wired Aces - $127.5k pot
Another bad turn for durrrr whose TPTK is de-railed as IReadYrSoul turns a set of 7's - $121.2k pot
Other than Barcode and Rui Cao there was one other six figure winner yesterday as Kyle "KPR16" Ray took a $102k win at the FLO8 tables, mainly from a $94k session versus Erik1223
As previously mentioned, there was a little $200/$400 PLO with several players making small-medium 5 figure scores including refaelemit, Sauce123 and patpatman while there was one big loser as Ilari FIN dropped $126k in these games, including the biggest hand of the session;
Ilari flops top two against Sauce123's monster draw - the draw gets there on the river in this $80k pot
Yesterday's Biggest Winners
