SennaBoris79 Turns $27 Satellite into $200k at TCOOP Then Hits The HighStakes Tables

SennaBoris79 has taken profitable advantage of his TCOOP score so far - adding abother $60k to his kitty over the past couple of days

Over at PokerStars yesterday we saw a 7 way chop in the $700 main event which saw a huge 5,060 players contesting for their share of a $3.3m prize pool. The event was finally taken down by Swedish player "frma1103" who, after the chop received  $326,880 for his first place finish.

Perhaps a more interesting story however was the player who finished in 7th place as Russian player "SennaBoris79" had qualified for the main event courtesy of a $27 qualifier and, after the chop, ended up with $193,069.50 and decided today to try his luck at the $50/$100 NLHE tables against some fierce competition.

This isn't the first time a player has scooped a big tourney win from humble beginnings only to jump into the highstakes tables and (usually) take a pretty big beating.

Playing against highly skilled players including Tobias "KTPOKP" Kuder, Diogo "phounderAA" Veiga, Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby, Trueteller, Jacob "Lottenice" Rasmussen and k0b0Ldm4k1 it looked like this shot at the big time was heading the same way as SennaBoris79 quickly lost a buy in before rallying in a 90 hand 1.25 hour session yesterday morning before walking away a $27k winner. His biggest hand of the session can be seen below;

Dream flop for SennaBoris79 as he manages to extract some value on every street from TrueTeller - $20.9k pot

We thought we'd seen the last of SennaBoris79 but once again he cropped up this morning looking for more action and didn't have to look far to get it! It looked like the run good might be over for Senna as he lost close to three buy ins in the first two hours of his 2.75 hour session and seemed very much like the mark at the table before once again rallying with three decent pots in the latter stages of play before leaving the table a $30k winner.

His biggest pot of the day can be seen below;

Only an amateur seriously scared of losing a big five figure pot would call on this dream board - $53.8k pot

Once again, Boris left soon after hitting a decent run of cards - now close to $60k in profit at the high stakes cash games. Only time will tell whether the brave amateur will cut and run or be back for more. Either way we only hope for his sake he has made a pretty sizeable withdrawal!

Yeah, your luck will only last so long bro. Unless you got a big bankroll you will drop the lot eventually, take what you have and run with it!

Nah, you guys are dumb. This dude has probably dreamed for years of getting to the high stakes, and here's his chance... how many of you think you'd love to play amongst the best at high stakes? I bet most of you... yet if you got the chance you'd take the money and run. He is showing balls! It's awesome. Keep it up!

What was that "call" on the river? :O You don't see such a bad play even in 0.05/0.10$ cash games. He can lose to one hand only which he has a blocker to. So about one out of 1000 chance of not having the best hand. But no raise, but a fkin CALL?!?

He can loose against pocket tens (3 combinations) and pocket jacks (1 combination) because of his blocker. Nevertheless it's clearly an all-in.

Unbeliveble that he didn't raise the river with the fullhouse. This guy won't make it far playing so silly.
