OMGClayAiken Claws Back $362k at Triple Draw
Phil Galfond tops the leader board for the second time in three days to wipe out Wednesdays losses
After yesterday's monster $600k loss Phil "OMGClayAiken" proved why he is considered one of the worlds best poker players as he got straight back on the horse and back to the "killing fields" of the 2-7 Triple Draw tables to exorcise the ghosts of Wednesday and ended up as the day's biggest winner - taking $362.1k.
Galfond played 3 multi-tabling sessions of six max yesterday, 4.5 hours in the morning, three hours during the afternoon and another four hours in the evening - walking away a winner from each session playing against the likes of Polarizing, patpatpanda, trex313, Kagome Kagome, Isildur1 and punting-peddler.
punting-peddler also had a great day yesterday winning $341.3k, winning close to $60k from the triple draw tables but the majority from the mixed $300/$600 and $1500/$3000 games in some early morning heads up games with Erik1223.
Phil "Polarizing" Ivey finally bagged a winning day after suffering a horrible 2013 so far at Full Tilt. Polarizing won just shy of $293k yesterday. He took wins at the Triple Draw and mixed game tables but the majority of his haul came from the FLO8 tables where he won $176k in 90 minutes of play during an afternoon session.
There were two other >$200k winners at the limit tables yesterday as Kagome Kagome won $294.9k at the triple draw tables. Although he played morning, afternoon and evening sessions, he can thank the final session for all his winnings as he won close to $300k in his final burst at the tables. PostFlopAction enjoyed a $266.7k win - profiting a little from the triple draw tables and winning c.$238k at the FLO8 tables. With so much being made at the FLO8 tables there must have been some losers - KPR16 was the fall guy on this occasion, losing $575k yesterday, solely at the FLO8 tables.
The days only other six figure winner came from PokerStars where Odd_Oddsen took $114.8k at the $50/$100 tables.
The most active player yesterday was Isildur1 who played just under 3,400 hands and had a typically up and down day. Nothing extreme this time but he did swing between c.$150k profit to c.$250 loss before ending the day less than $1k in profit!
It was some heads up PLO matches between Isildur1 and Sauce1234 which brought the biggest pots of the day;
Sauce1234's Aces are odds on to lose on this flop, the turn gives the advantage to Isildur1 who holds on to take this $150k pot
Isildur1 flops top two but Sauce's wrap completes on the river and he gets paid off in this $133.8k pot
Yesterday's Biggest Winners
